Strength of schedule:
Louisville is (5-1) with wins over Charlotte, Syracuse, Florida State, Marshall, and Duke. Their lone defeat was a six-point loss to a top ten team in Clemson. N.C. State is (4-2) with wins over William & Mary, Old Dominion, Wake Forest, and Notre Dame. Their two losses came against East Carolina and Clemson.
N.C. State gave Clemson a real run for their money last week but came up short. N.C. State is strong on defense especially stuffing the run. They will have their hands full with arguably the best dual threat quarterback in the country in Lamar Jackson. The weakness of the Wolfpack defense is in the secondary. Look for Louisville to exploit that weakness since they are averaging over 300 yards through the air. Louisville leads the country in scoring and have put up 36 or more points in every game except for last week against Duke. I like Louisville to win this one big at home.
