Strength of schedule:

Tennessee is (6-3) with wins over Appalachian State, Virginia Tech, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee Tech.  Their losses came against Alabama, Texas A&M, and South Carolina.  Kentucky is (5-4) with wins over New Mexico State, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, and Missouri.  They were defeated by Georgia, Alabama, Florida, and Southern Miss.

Tennessee is in a complete tailspin after starting the season (5-0) as a top ten team in the nation.  The Volunteers have since lost four of their last five games and their star running back Jalen Hurd has filed for a transfer.  Kentucky had their three game winning streak snapped as they lost a three point heartbreaker to Georgia last week.  Tennessee has the advantage in all the major statistical categories and in just terms of pure talent on the roster.  The biggest mismatch is the Tennessee passing game against a weak Kentucky secondary.  If Tennessee gets up big early then this could be a blowout because the Wildcats struggle to throw the football.  I think the Volunteers will get back on track with a solid home victory over Kentucky.
