NFL Championship Game:
New England Patriots vs Los Angeles Rams:
This game will come down to whether Aaron Donald and the Rams defensive line can get pressure on Tom Brady and force him into errant throws. The preparation of Bill Belichek and Brady is second to none as the Patriots dominated the first halves against the Chargers and Chiefs. Brady may get all the headlines but an underrated Patriots rushing attack is averaging 166 yards per game in the postseason.
One has to wonder about the health of Rams’ star running back Todd Gurley II after missing time late in the season and playing very few snaps in their win over the Saints. Gurley absolutely must be a factor because the Patriots will know better than anyone how to slow down receiver Brandin Cooks. Jared Goff will have his time over the next decade but everything is aligning for Tom Brady to win his sixth ring.
- The Crowd is projecting a final score of Patriots 30.5 – Rams 28.1 with an over/under of 58.6.
- Vegas is projecting a final score of Patriots 30.3 – Rams 27.5 with an over/under of 57.5.
- The Patriots are 11-7 against the spread this season while the Rams are 9-7-2.
- The Patriots are 7-11 against the over/under this season whereas the Rams are 9-9.
