Takeaways: Hamilton 6 (5th) = Saskatchewan 6 (5th)

Summary:

Both teams should be well rested as each was on bye in week five.  For the season, Hamilton is averaging 24.0 points per game (4th) and allowing 21.0 (2nd).  Saskatchewan is averaging 19.8 points per game (7th) and they are allowing 23.8 (5th).  Hamilton is the most prolific passing team in the league while Saskatchewan has struggled with ineptitude at the quarterback position all season.  Tiger-Cats quarterback Jeremiah Masoli has completed 66% of his passes and ranks second in yards (1,378).  The Roughriders lead the league in turnovers which has killed their offense.  Hamilton is (1-0) at home this season whereas Saskatchewan is (0-1) on the road.

Bottom Line:

Hamilton should be able to spread the field and put up points through the air as they’ve done very well all season.  Offensive inconsistency and turnovers have crippled Saskatchewan and will be their undoing again in this matchup.
