Overview:

On Friday, October 5th, the (2-3) Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will be on the road to take on the (2-3) Louisville Cardinals.

The Crowd:

The Crowd projects a final score of Georgia Tech 30.6 – Louisville 25.5 with an over/under of 56.1.

2018-19 Statistics (130 total teams):

  • Passing offense: Louisville 191.6 YPG > Georgia Tech 114.0 YPG
  • Rushing offense: Georgia Tech 339.4 YPG > Louisville 120.0 YPG
  • Scoring offense: Georgia Tech 36.4 PPG > Louisville 18.4 PPG
  • Scoring defense: Louisville 26.0 PPG > Georgia Tech 27.8 PPG
  • Passing defense: Georgia Tech 206.0 YPG > Louisville 217.0 PPG
  • Rushing defense: Georgia Tech 150.0 YPG > Louisville 168.8 PPG
  • Turnover Margin Per Game: Georgia Tech +0.2 > Louisville -1.2

Bottom Line:

Georgia Tech’s triple option offense has them as the second highest rushing team in the country.  Louisville has really struggled to score points and their passing attack has severely underperformed.  Turnovers have been a huge problem for the Cardinals and have consistent given their defense a short field.  Georgia Tech will wear down Louisville with the ground game and win this one on the road.
