On Thursday, April 27th, the San Antonio Spurs will be on the road to take on the Memphis Grizzlies in game six of their Western Conference playoff series. San Antonio holds a (3-2) series lead.

San Antonio now holds a (3-2) series lead after defeating Memphis 116-103 in game five. For the series, Memphis is averaging 96.4 PPG while San Antonio is averaging 105.0 PPG. Memphis has to be kicking themselves for losing game five despite shooting over 50% and only turning the ball over 9 times. Kawhi Leonard was terrific again pouring in 28 points on 9-16 shooting. Memphis has had no answer for Kawhi who for the series is averaging 31.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists. This will be a tough game for San Antonio as Memphis has already defended their home court twice. The Spurs need more from LaMarcus Aldridge who managed just 12 points on 39% shooting. I think Memphis will have to hold San Antonio under 100 points if they want to win game six because they simply don’t have the offensive firepower. I give the Grizzlies credit for even taking this series to six games without Tony Allen and Chandler Parsons. I anticipate this being another close game as each of the last three games have been decided by ten points or fewer. I like the Spurs to close out this series and advance to the next round.
