THE CROWD’S LINE LLC
USER PROVIDED INFORMATION
While using our “Site” and our “App”, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information (PII) that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:
(a) your name, email address, user name, password, age, postal address, phone number and other registrant information (“Personal Information”);
(b) transaction-related information, such as number of times you open the app, the time you spend on using the app, the amount times you make a prediction, the amount of times you view games, and other related statistics, respond to any offers, or download or use applications from us (“Transaction Information”);
(c) support-related information, such as the information you provide for us when you contact us for help (“Support Information”); and
(d) information you enter into our system when using the “Site” or the “App”.
We may also use the information you provided to us to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices, and marketing promotions.
Note that user registration is mandatory to use the “App”.
AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED INFORMATION
In addition, the “Site” and “App” may collect certain information automatically, including but not limited to:
(a) log-related information, such as browser or the mobile device sends whenever you visit our “Site” or use the “App”. This include information such as: (i) your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics; and (ii) the mobile device’s IP address, (“Log Information”);
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services as:
(a) Informational and entertaining content on crowdsourced predictions for sports events; and
(b) as information to help us improve the “Site”, the “App”, and our service.
We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
We may disclose PII, User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
(a) as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
(b) when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
(c) with our trusted services providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement;
(d) with trusted third parties that that intend to market products and services to you directly, provided you have given consent for us to do so;
(e)If The Crowd’s Line LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of this information, as well as any choices you may have regarding this information.
OPT OUT RIGHTS
You can stop all collection of information by the “App” easily by uninstalling the “App”. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. You can also request to opt-out via email, at email@example.com.
Data Retention Policy, Managing your Information
We will retain User Provided Information for as long as you use the “App” and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you’d like us to delete User Provided Information that you have provided via the “Site or “App”, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Information may be required in order for the “App” to function properly.
MINORS AND CHILDREN
We do not use the “App” to knowingly solicit data from or market to Minors and persons under the age of 18. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child or a Minor under his or her care has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at email@example.com We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our “Site” and “App”. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
