Summary:

Miami enters the game 8th in the league in runs scored (4.78) while Pittsburgh (3.42) rank 27th.  Giancarlo Stanton is off to a terrific start slashing .300/.367/.614 with seven homers and 15 RBI.  Marcell Ozuna is hitting .306 and leads the majors with 21 RBI.  Pittsburgh has not fielded the ball well leading the league in errors with 19.  The Pirates were dealt a huge blow when all-star outfielder Starling Marte was hit with a 50-game suspension for performance enhancing drugs.  The loss of Marte is huge because he is on a short list of five tool players in Major League Baseball.  Miami dominated this match-up a year ago going (6-1) in their head to head games with Pittsburgh.  Surprisingly, Miami actually outscored Pittsburgh 24-22 in those seven games.  The Marlins are (4-2) at home this season while Pittsburgh is (3-6) on the road.  Miami has the advantage in nearly every statistical category and should win this one at home.
