On Sunday, October 30th, at 1:00 P.M. the (5-2) Oakland Raiders will be on the road to take on the (3-3) Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Crowd:

“The Crowd” projects a final score of Raiders 23.9 – Buccaneers 19.4 with an over/under of 43.3.  The Vegas Line has a final score of Buccaneers 25.0 – Raiders 24.0 with an over/under of 49.0.

2016-17 Statistics (32 total teams):

Yards per game: Raiders 369.6 (11th) > Buccaneers 365.3 (12th)

Points per game: Raiders 26.4 (8th) > Buccaneers 21.3 (19th)

Turnover margin: Raiders +8 > Buccaneers -3

Fewest yards allowed per game: Buccaneers 350.7 (13th) > Raiders 430.4 (32nd)

Fewest Points allowed per game: Raiders 25.6 (22nd) > Buccaneers 26.5 (25th)

Tampa Bay is coming off a nice victory over the 49ers in which they put up 31 points.  The Buccaneers have struggled with turnovers for most of the season.  Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston has turned the ball over 13 times in six games.  Oakland, on the other hand, has one of the best turnover margins in the NFL.  Raiders quarterback Derek Carr is having a terrific season with 13 touchdowns to just 3 interceptions.

Oakland’s high powered offensive attack is in the upper echelon of units in the NFL.  The Raiders defense is abysmal allowing the most yards per game in the league.  Ultimately Tampa Bay’s turnover woes will likely be too much to overcome, so I like the Raiders to pull this one out on the road.

To be eligible to enter a Crowd’s Line contest you must be over 18 years of age, a resident of the United States/Canada, and submit your score prediction on our prediction tool (blog widget). The winner will be selected according to The Crowd’s Line scoring methodology.  If more than one entrant has the same winning score the winner will be selected by random drawing.  Only one prize will be awarded per contest and that winner will receive their prize in 7-10 business days.
