Pittsburgh is one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now riding a seven-game winning streak while Miami is (3-2) in their last five games. The Dolphins will be without their starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill who will miss the game with injury. Matt Moore will be filling in for Tannehill and has looked solid going (2-1) as a starter this season. The Dolphins won this head to head match-up 30-15 earlier this season in Miami. Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi ran for over 200 yards in that game, but I expect the Steelers to be well prepared for him this time around.
The Steelers (+71) rank 5th in the league in point differential while Miami (-17) ranks 24th. That tells me Miami was lucky to even make the playoffs and will have their hands full with a Steelers team that is playing great football. Pittsburgh is (6-2) at home this season while Miami is (4-4) on the road. Pittsburgh has scored 20 or more points in each of their last eight games and I like their odds to keep that trend against a shaky Dolphins defense. Pittsburgh has the advantage in all the major statistical categories so I like the Steelers to win by double digits at home.
